**Exciting Opportunity for an RN in the Operating Room!**
**Job Description:**
- Join a dynamic team focused on delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced Operating Room environment.
- Work with a diverse patient population, including Pediatric, Adult, and Geriatric patients.
- Engage in a variety of surgical cases:
- Pain management (injections/Kyphoplasty)
- ENT procedures (ear tubes/tonsils/sinus/thyroid)
- Urology surgeries (cysto/TURP/PCNL/Lithotripsy/robotic sacrocolpopexy/partial kidneys)
- Gynecological operations (Total lap hysterectomy/ablations/lap gyn/D&C)
- Podiatry, General surgery (cholecystectomy/appendectomy/hernias)
- Some Orthopedic cases (hip pinning/knee scope/shoulder scopes)
- Enjoy a consistent DAY shift from 6:30 AM to 3 PM.
**Requirements:**
- **Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:**
- BLS certification via AHA required
- ACLS certification via AHA required
- PALS certification via AHA required
- RN License in state of employment or compact
**Summary of Responsibilities:**
- Demonstrate leadership as a competent nurse within a clinical setting.
- Provide routine and complex care to patients while recognizing all relevant aspects of situations.
- Utilize the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
- Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
- Maintain thorough documentation of patient history, symptoms, medication, and care delivered.
- Assess learning needs and educate patients, family members, and caregivers.
**Qualifications:**
- **Education/Skills:**
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
- **Experience:**
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
**Work Schedule:**
- Full Time from 6:30 AM to 3 PM.
