Job Opportunity – Operating Room Nurse – Virginia

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM (end times may vary based on case volume). 2 operating rooms with 1:1 patient ratios.

- Ambulatory surgery center specializing in orthopedic procedures including total joints, sports medicine, spine, podiatry, and hand surgery
- 8-week contract assignment
- Dedicated orthopedic OR environment with focus on hips, knees, shoulders, arthroscopic procedures, ACDF, lumbar laminectomy, and hand surgery
- Monday through Friday schedule with predictable weekday hours
- Team-based approach with circulator, scrub, and assistant support
- Paper charting documentation system
Requirements:
- Active RN license eligible for Virginia
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of general operating room experience
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of orthopedic spine experience required
- Advanced orthopedic skills preferred: total joints (hips, knees, shoulders), sports medicine (arthroscopy, ACL, PCL, MPFL procedures), spine, podiatry, and hand surgery
