License: Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required. Certifications: BLS from AHA required. Must-Have: - 24 months of current operating room experience. - Experience with general, robotic (Davinci), pediatrics, and trauma cases is required. - EPIC electronic medical records experience within the previous 3 years is required. - Trauma level II experience is required. - Must have completed a travel assignment within the previous 15 months. Description: The operating room nurse role requires quick adaptability and efficiency. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with an average caseload of 35-50 cases per day. Expectations for turnovers are less than 20 minutes. The environment includes 16 operating rooms, running 12-14 routinely. Service lines include cardiac, neuro, orthopedic trauma, robotics, gynecology, urology, general, pediatrics, and transplants. Experience with special equipment such as Davinci robots and Stealth technology is preferred. The position requires the ability to scrub and circulate. On-call duties will be required, including weekends. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to float across multiple campuses.
