Description:
Clinicians should be prepared to use strong critical-thinking skills.
They must adapt to the available resources.
A well-rounded clinical approach is necessary across a variety of responsibilities.
Travelers will complete a telemetry test onsite and will have two attempts to pass.
Failure to pass the telemetry test after two attempts will result in contract cancellation.
All requests for time off must be included in the initial submission.
Call-out and call-off policy allows for three shifts per contract duration.
Automatic disqualifiers include any hits on the license.
If a candidate does not have the required license, they can still be considered if they have applied for it.
Telemetry assessment requires nurses to achieve a minimum score of 80%.
Special equipment knowledge and usage are essential for patient care.
Nurses will independently measure telemetry strips and interpret cardiac rhythms for all telemetry patients under their care.
This role may involve floating to different departments as needed.
Strong orthopedic experience is a hard requirement for this position.
Previous employees cannot be submitted for traveler positions.
Return travelers are eligible to return if they are in good standing.
