The position requires working with a variety of surgery types, including orthopedic, general, robotic, spine, ENT, and gynecological procedures. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. Candidates are expected to provide documentation proving experience and qualifications. A supervisory reference form completed within the last two years is required. Candidates must possess an active BLS certification, with AHA preferred, as well as an active ACLS certification, also preferably from AHA. The position entails taking on-call shifts, with an average of 3-4 weekends in a 12-week period. All candidates must be located at least 50 miles from the facility.
