Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,526 per week in Presque Isle, ME

Must be comfortable with after-hours/on-call cases including trauma, ER C-sections, and emergency general cases. - Extensive orthopedic experience, specifically heavy ortho trauma and preferably total joints.

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday to Friday Hours per Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM Experience: Minimum of 2 years in relevant field License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS (preferred) Must-Have: - Experience in general surgeries (open and laparoscopic), bowel surgeries, gallbladders, appendix, and hernias. - Experience in urology, ENT, ophthalmology, GYN including C-sections. - Extensive orthopedic experience, specifically heavy ortho trauma and preferably total joints. - Must be comfortable with after-hours/on-call cases including trauma, ER C-sections, and emergency general cases. Description: ASAP start needed. Interviews will be conducted promptly. Facility has a total of 4 operating rooms. Daily case volume averages 10-12 scheduled procedures. On-call requirements include one shift per week and one weekend every 4-6 weeks. Emergent cases will be handled during weekdays after 3:00 PM and from Friday 3:00 PM to Monday 6:30 AM. Call back time is 30 minutes. Holiday expectations include on-call only. Schedule cycle is every 6 weeks. Surgical scrubs will be provided.
