Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13-26 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (10:45 AM - 11:15 PM) Experience: Minimum 2.5 years of experience required License: Active state nursing license required Certifications: BLS required, CNOR preferred Must-Have: General OR and Trauma experience required Level I trauma experience required Bariatric, General Surgery, Client, Orthopedic, Plastic Surgery, Transplant, Urology, Trauma case experience required Emergency management skills required Description: Please review submittal instructions carefully. Open to 13-26 week contracts, as preferred by the traveler. Position requires a minimum of 2.5 years of operating room experience. First-time travelers are not accepted. Weekend requirement is 1 per month. On-call requirement is up to 1 per week, though it typically is not often. Travelers may float within their skill set, although this is rare. Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility. Facing a diverse range of cases is expected, with all service lines being utilized except cardiovascular. Experience with Cerner charting system is preferred. All requested time off must be reviewed and approved by management. Background checks and any prior employment concerns must be disclosed. Applicants must confirm their understanding of the role's requirements. Housing must be reviewed and secured for the assignment location.
