License: Current and active license required. Certifications: BLS certification required. Must-Have: - General OR and trauma experience. - Ability to float between departments, units, and facilities as needed. Description: The role requires being part of a surgical team in the operating room. You will be responsible for providing direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. You will assist surgeons and other medical personnel in various surgical procedures. A patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:2 is expected. Rotating weekend work shifts are required as determined by departmental needs. On-call duty is required for 1-2 weekdays per week and 2 weekends per 13 weeks. Candidates must complete compliance requirements prior to starting the position. The ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a high-pressure environment is essential. Experience with Epic charting system is required. Preferred experience in trauma level I or II facilities is a plus. Travelers must have licenses from the relevant states. A maximum of 7 days of requested time off is permitted. All time-off requests must be finalized during the submission process.
