Registered Nurse – Perioperative Nurse - Operating Room - Travel - (OR RN)
StartDate: 11/9/2026 Available Shifts: 8 D/E/N Pay Rate: $2505.00 - $2633.00
RN First Assist jobs at the facility in San Luis Obispo, CA let you work alongside surgeons in the operating room, providing direct patient care and assisting with surgical procedures. You will support preoperative and postoperative care, maintain sterile technique, and collaborate with the surgical team for optimal outcomes. You must hold an active California RN license and have completed an accredited nursing program. Certification as a Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) and Basic Life Support (BLS) are required. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and at least 2 years of perioperative nursing experience are recommended. Ortho, Neuro, and Trauma experience required. 1 plus years of experience. Call is at least 1 night per week and 1 weekend per schedule. Potentially more based on need. Must have Epic experience. OR Reference and SCL within a year RTO Upon Submission
