The unit is focused heavily on orthopedic, spine, and neuro procedures. Experience with procedures such as abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, anterior lumbar interbody fusion, and orthopedic surgeries is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable with a variety of surgical instruments and equipment, including Da Vinci robotics. Nurses are encouraged to scrub in for surgeries when needed. Weekend and holiday availability is expected. The unit serves as a Level 1 trauma center, accommodating both adult and pediatric patients.
