The standard shift is 12 hours with occasional start times of 0845 and 1045 and a possibility of floating to nights. The role necessitates floating to other surgical units as needed. There will be weekend shifts required based on unit needs. The hospital operates 41 ORs and serves as a Level 1 Trauma Center. Types of cases include General, GU/GYN, Neuro, ENT, and Plastic surgeries. Candidates must be able to circulate an emergent craniotomy and have experience with various surgical procedures. Pre-approved time off is limited, and strict time periods for scheduling requests are established. Completion of facility-specific modules is required within the first week of the assignment.
