Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 4×10-hour shifts | 07:00-17:00 | No scheduled weekends | Weekend call required (currently 1 in 4) | Holidays as needed
Key Responsibilities- Provide perioperative nursing care across a range of surgical specialties including General Surgery, Cataracts, Robotics, Orthopedics, and GYN
- Float to other units or areas as needed to support staffing requirements
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients and families throughout the surgical experience
- Participate in weekend call rotation as required
- Adhere to facility protocols, safety standards, and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- BLS certification required - American Heart Association (AHA) only
- ACLS certification required - American Heart Association (AHA) only
- Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience required, within the last 3 years
- Must pass a telemetry/cardiac rhythm interpretation exam prior to start (passing score of 80% or higher; up to three attempts permitted under specified conditions)
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience across multiple OR specialties including robotics and orthopedics
- Familiarity with high-acuity surgical environments and complex patient populations
- Strong adaptability and willingness to float as needed
