Job Title: Seasonal Travel RN - OR Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care OR RN hospital experience License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS & ACLS Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Minimum 1-year current acute care OR RN hospital experience BLS & ACLS Description: This is a seasonal travel RN position in the Operating Room. The unit consists of 28 beds with a night shift patient ratio of 1:1. The team typically includes a charge nurse, registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, and sitters. The available equipment includes DaVinci Robotics SI, XI and Mako. Experience with DaVinci Robotics and specialties in ortho, neurology, and vascular are highly preferred. Preferred candidates will also have prior experience with Meditech. Typical procedures include orthopedics, GYN, general surgery, urology, cardiothoracic, vascular, plastics, dental, eyes, pediatrics, spine, neuro, trauma, TAVR, MAKO, and DaVinci. Patient care experience and strong communication skills with staff and providers are essential for success in this role. The unit is flexible with scheduling options, requiring one late night per week and an 8-hour Saturday shift every fourth week. An on-call shift of 8 hours is also required per month on a Saturday or Sunday. The response time for on-call duties is 30 minutes.
