Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years License: Pending license accepted on a case-by-case basis Certifications: - BLS required - ACLS preferred - CNOR preferred Must-Have: - Epic experience required - Must be able to handle Ortho Trauma, Craniotomy, and Trauma cases - Call requirement: Two weeknights every six weeks and one weekend Saturday and Sunday Description: The registered nurse will provide care in the operating room environment, assisting with surgical procedures. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience. Preferred candidates will have Epic experience. The nurse will be responsible for ensuring patient safety and preparing all necessary equipment for procedures. Knowledge of specialty surgeries and ability to scrub for various cases is required.
