- Experience passing instruments in and out for Robotics.
- Must have experience with all specialties for evening/night shift.
- Must be comfortable with charge nurse responsibilities.
Description:
The facility consists of 9 operating rooms and 1 procedure room.
The average number of cases per day ranges from 35 to 45.
Common cases include general surgery, ENT, eyes, orthopedic procedures, and robotics.
Surgical experience includes neuro spine, burr holes, VP shunts, ventrics, lamis, discectomy, fusions, TLIF, ALIF, nerve stimulators, total joints, and more.
The facility also handles trauma cases and vascular procedures.
Pediatric cases mostly involve dental and ENT procedures, with rare orthopedic fractures.
Emergent cases include appendectomies, stabbings, and cranial surgeries.
All surgical cases are covered except for specific high-risk areas.
Travelers will be required to circulate cases as needed.
Block scheduling may be allowed to meet unit needs.
Shifts may vary based on operational requirements.
On-call responsibilities include one weeknight and one weekend per month.
Response time for on-call duty is expected to be within 30 minutes.
Floating to outpatient surgery may be required.
Scrubs will be provided for staff.
There is no self-scheduling for travelers, but flexibility in scheduling may be considered.
Additional training will be provided for those with minimal experience in specific service lines.
