The shift will run from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays. The unit is a large organization with 408 beds and 14 operating rooms. Staffing includes 14-16 RNs and CSTs each day, along with a Clinical Charge RN. Patient ratios are maintained at 1:1. Standard operating room equipment is utilized, including Stryker video systems. The focus is on patient experience and effective communication within the team. The ideal candidate will be adaptable to change and supportive of unit policies. Typical procedures performed in the unit include angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and orthopedic/spine surgery. No transplant procedures are performed in this unit. There are on-call responsibilities, including 2 twelve-hour shifts and several evening call shifts each month. This is an opportunity to work with experienced staff and utilize advanced equipment.
