Key Responsibilities- Provide perioperative nursing care within a high-volume OR environment handling approximately 75-90 cases per day across 28 rooms
- Perform and support neuro/craniotomy and ortho spine procedures ranging from simple single-level spine fusions to complex multi-level deformity corrections, spine tumors, neurovascular cases, and neuro trauma
- Float to other service lines within the Tower OR as needed
- Fulfill on-call obligations: expected 2 weekday call shifts (8-hour, 2330-0700) and 3 weekend call shifts (12-hour, 0700-1930 or 1900-0730) per schedule, with a 45-minute response time
- Support multi-trauma activations as part of the neuro/craniotomy call team when needed
- Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma OR setting
- Strong neuro/ortho spine and craniotomy scrubbing experience
- Availability for holiday call coverage (1 major, 1 minor holiday per contract, call shift only)
Preferred Experience / Skills- RN scrubbing skills and hands-on scrub experience in the OR
- Experience with complex neurovascular and neuro trauma cases
- Familiarity with Epic EMR
