Description: Experience in the operating room or in a bronchoscopy lab is required. The nurse will not need experience in assisting with a bronchoscopy. They will be responsible for monitoring the patient and documenting the procedure similar to an OR nurse. Typically, the role involves working with outpatients, but the position is located within the operating room and the respiratory therapy department. The nurse will maintain communication with anesthesia, pre-operative, and post-anesthesia care unit staff. The nurse will not be responsible for admitting, discharge, or peri-operative care. Interviews will be conducted via phone. Every other weekend availability is required. COVID and flu vaccination is required, though medical and religious declinations will be accepted. Scrubs will be navy blue. Offer responses must be accepted or declined within 48 hours; otherwise, they will be withdrawn. Time off will not be added or altered once an offer is accepted.
