Shift: Days, Varied (0630-1900, 0900-2130, or Night Shift 2100-0700) 
Start Date: 10/12/2026 | Duration: 13 weeks

Unit Type: OR (Operating Room)
Care Setting: Acute | Division: Nursing
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Trauma Level: 2
Charting System: EPIC

Unit Notes:

  • 16 OR suites; ~30 cases/day
  • Must have Trauma and Neuro experience
  • Common case types: General, ENT, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, Robotics
  • Scrubbing not required for RNs
  • Charge Nurse experience preferred (charge nurse and house supervisor present each shift)
  • 2 OR techs on shift
  • Floating: Only in cases of extreme need — may be asked to float within Zone 1 (PEN, SFH, SFI, SMC, STM)
  • Scrubs provided
  • Unit/department-specific orientation provided
