License: Compact license must be in hand at submission. Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred. Must-Have: Pediatric experience required. Candidates must possess skills in general surgery, gynecology, breast surgery, ENT, and urology. Description: Permanent candidates from any facility are eligible for a travel contract if they have been separated for at least 3 months. All facilities honor an active compact license. First-time travelers are accepted with the required experience. Flexibility in scheduling is required. Call requirements for ambulatory surgery include two weekdays and one weekend call within a six-week schedule period. Call hours are Monday to Thursday from 5 PM to 9 PM, Friday from 5 PM to 11 PM, and Saturday from 7 AM to 7 PM. There are no Sunday call hours. Candidates should be willing to float between nearby facilities as required. Experience with both inpatient and outpatient OR cases is required, including pediatric cases. Expected daily census is between 25 and 35 patients. All applicants must provide two references covering one year of experience within the last three years. Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment.
