Description:
This is a seasonal travel position for an RN in the Operating Room.
The schedule for this role is from 6:45 AM to 4:45 PM.
The unit focuses on spine and total joint procedures.
There are three operating rooms for spine and joint surgeries.
The average staff number is 60, including a charge RN and a unit secretary.
Up to 11 rooms are staffed daily from Monday to Friday.
Weekend on-call shifts may be required, but no overnight shifts are necessary.
Patient ratios are not applicable for this role.
Common procedures include spine fusions and total joint replacements.
Candidates with joint scrub experience and prior familiarity with EMR systems are preferred.
Flexibility and effective communication with staff and providers are essential.
A strong background in patient care is highly valued.
The unit has a 30-minute response time for on-call duties.
