The schedule consists of five 8-hour shifts from 07:00 to 15:30. There are no weekend or holiday shifts required. Late stay sign-up for call may be necessary. The average daily census in the unit is 35 patients. The team consists of 6 operating rooms. The position requires certification in BLS, with ACLS and CNOR certifications preferred. Two years of experience as an OR RN is mandatory. The flu vaccine is required during flu season, with medical exemptions only. The facility maintains a smoke/nicotine-free policy. All candidates must have an active Virginia nursing license at the time of submission. Submissions must include a statement of EPIC experience, if applicable. This position may require float to the main OR as needed. Expect to work some holidays, with time off approved at management discretion.
