Description:
This position involves late-day shifts until 19:00 on rotation (1-2 times per week).
Experience across a variety of surgical procedures is required, including but not limited to: lobe resection, lung resection, thoracotomy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and various orthopedic procedures.
The candidate shall demonstrate proficiency in charting systems, particularly Meditech.
Experience with infection control, specimen handling, and universal protocol compliance is essential.
The unit handles a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
Daily case volume includes 20-25 cases across 6 operating rooms.
The surgical specialties include spine, urology, gynecology, orthopedics, general surgery, ENT, and pulmonology.
The unit is equipped with advanced technologies such as ION, Da Vinci XI, Stryker/Arthrex, and Storz video equipment.
Interdisciplinary support and collaboration are key aspects of this role.
