Exciting Opportunity for Travel RN in the Operating Room!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Travel RN - Operating Room (701) - **Schedule:** 4 Day Schedule, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM - **Location:** Miami, FL **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** 29 - **Staffing:** - Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 2-3 RNs, 2 Techs, Clinical Coordinator - Night Shift: 1 Charge RN, 2-3 RNs, 2 Techs, Clinical Coordinator - **Patient Ratios:** 3:1 - **Equipment & Technology:** - X-rays, preoperative equipment, electrocardiography (EKG) - EMR: Meditech **Requirements:** - **Must-Have Skills:** - Current ACLS & BLS certifications - 2 years of experience in acute OR setting - Experience with orthopedic, spine, and joint replacement surgeries - **Preferred Skills:** - PALS certification - CNOR certification - Charge nurse experience **Typical Procedures:** - Joint replacements - ENT surgeries - Orthopedic and spine surgeries - Urological procedures - Vascular, podiatry, thoracic, and plastic surgeries **Personality Fit:** - Dedicated and reliable - Excellent patient care experience - Strong critical thinking skills - Passionate with multitasking abilities - Exceptional bedside manner **Dress Code:** - Scrubs: Navy blue or Royal blue (No surgical type scrubs) **Unit Guidelines/Policies:** - Must be able to scrub and circulate in all service lines - Rotating weekends may be required - Call requirements include: - 4 on-call shifts over a 4-week period (2 weeknight calls, 2 weekend 24-hour calls, and 1 holiday call) **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
