Job TitleOperating Room Registered Nurse

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Variable/PM Shift (12:30 PM - 11:00 PM) | On-call rotation every 6 weeks, including 2-3 weekday and 1-2 weekend 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities- Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses, care issues, and develop individualized care plans
- Implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote patient health and a safe environment
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to provide safe, compassionate care
- Evaluate patient progress toward outcomes and adjust care plans as appropriate
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members using critical thinking and independent professional judgment
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required - AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS accepted
- Minimum of two years of recent Operating Room experience
- EPIC electronic health records experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Prior experience in an acute care hospital setting
- Familiarity with on-call scheduling in a surgical or perioperative environment
