Consults and coordinates with team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans.

Adheres to standards and appropriate aseptic techniques. Consults and coordinates with team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans. Serves as a communication liaison to patients, families, and members of the operating team. Prepares the operating room for the patient and surgical procedure. Assembles equipment and supplies and ensures equipment is functional. Ensures that supplies and implants are available. Call requirements currently are 5 shifts from Monday to Friday in a 6-week period. Weekend day shifts will be required, comprising 3 shifts on Saturday or Sunday within a 6-week period.
