Candidates without CV or general surgery experience should not apply. Shifts are available for three 12-hour days or four 10-hour evenings with weekend call requirements. Holidays may require coverage based on call shifts. Response time for on-call is 30 minutes. The average daily census is 22 cases. Ideal candidates must possess extensive scrub and circulate experience. Experience in vascular, ortho, general, ENT, urology, robotics, and GYN procedures is crucial. Candidates must provide two manager or charge nurse references from the past two years. All required certifications must be obtained through the American Heart Association. Permanent employees are not eligible for travel contracts within the health system for a two-year period following their last day worked. Flu vaccine is required unless medical documentation is provided for exemption. COVID-19 vaccination is not required.
