Experience: Minimum 2 years of operating room experience, preferred charge experience, and pediatric experience preferred.
License: Active nursing license required.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS.
Must-Have:
- General, orthopedic, neurological, trauma, and ENT experience required.
- Cerner charting system experience preferred.
Description:
Looking for an Operating Room Registered Nurse.
Candidates must have experience in operating room settings.
Experience in general, orthopedic, neurological, trauma, and ENT procedures is required.
Pediatric experience is preferred.
Nurses will work three 12-hour shifts with rotating days off and call responsibilities.
Average call is 3-6 days in a 28-day cycle.
Weekend coverage is expected every 4th or 5th weekend.
The daily census in the operating room ranges from 35 to 40 patients.
Nurses will be responsible for caring for a diverse patient population including adolescents, infants, adults, and geriatrics.
Candidates should possess a range of surgical skills and be prepared for various procedures.
An on-site drug screen will be conducted prior to starting the position.
This position may require working some holidays.
A commitment to patient safety and adherence to the universal protocol is essential.
