This is a Travel position. You must live more than 30 miles from the facility to be considered for this position.

Operating Room RN - Level 1 Trauma Center Shift Details

• 3x12-hour shifts
• Day/Evening/Night rotating schedule
• On-call/callback, floating, holidays, and weekends per unit needs

Position Overview

• The OR cares for a wide variety of patients
• Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma
• Level 1 Trauma Center designation
• 2 Da Vinci robots utilized across multiple services
• Active transplant program including livers, kidneys, and hearts

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License (New York State license ONLY)
• Minimum two (2) years of operating room experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Ability to scrub and circulate
• BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY)

Highly Desired Qualifications

• Level 1 trauma hospital experience
• Telemetry experience
• ACLS certification (Preferred)

Preferred Surgical Experience

• Specialty cases including transplants, plastics, and reconstructive procedures
• Craniotomy
• Strong orthopedic background
