Level I trauma experience required
Proficient with the Da Vinci xi robot
Experience with robotic general, gynecology, thoracic, and urology specialties
Ability to function independently in various specialty areas including robotics, orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, urology, bariatrics, ENT, plastics, vascular, and thoracic
Description:
Travelers will be expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays.
Candidates will be reviewed to determine clinical fit.
If clinical pass is achieved, candidates will be sent to the manager for final decision.
Manager interviews will occur as part of the selection process.
Call requirements consist of 2-3 calls within a 6-week matrix with a 30-minute response time.
Maximum requested time off is 7 days.
Travelers are expected to cover 3-4 weekend shifts within a 6-week matrix.
Weekend shifts may include days, evenings, or nights.
Holidays may require work during day, evening, or night shifts.
Candidates will care for patients with COVID-19 as necessary.
Facility is tobacco and fragrance-free.
Candidates must be able to function independently in all listed surgical specialties.
A minimum of Level II trauma experience is required.
Other robotic experiences outside of the specific robots used by the facility are not relevant.
Candidates are expected to possess various surgical skills, including but not limited to, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, craniotomy, and prostatectomy procedures.
This position excludes open-heart surgery and neurosurgery.
Candidates should be comfortable with all necessary procedures and protocols within the operating room environment.
