Experience with general, ENT, neuro, spine, ortho, and robotics cases is essential. Charge nurse or house supervisor experience is preferred but not mandatory. The average number of cases per day is around 30. Nurses will be required to float only in extreme circumstances. Scrubs will be provided. Familiarity with the Epic charting system is required. Weeknight and weekend call requirements are approximately 120 hours per contract. Call response time is expected to be within 30 minutes. The unit will have two OR techs on shift. Unit-specific orientation is included. The organization has a cancellation policy regarding shifts within the assignment duration.
