Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 17 weeks Shift: Evenings Hours per Shift: 10 hours (10:45 AM - 9:15 PM) Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Reliable attendance - Good punctuality - Flexibility in working hours - Basic competency in various services Description: The position requires working in a full-service facility with multiple operating suites. RN will be involved in approximately 55-60 cases per day, with around 1000 cases monthly. Certifications in BLS and ACLS are mandatory. Familiarity with Meditech as the electronic medical record (EMR) system is required. Charge nurse duties include overseeing OR technicians and collaborating with the nurse manager. Weekend coverage is needed approximately once every quarter for RNs. RNs do not have call during the week and will take general call on average every seventh weekend. Call response time is expected to be within 30 minutes. Holiday rotation is required alongside permanent staff members. Scrubbing is preferred but not required for RNs.
