Experience:
- Two (2) years operating room experience required
- Experience in a level 1 trauma setting highly desired
License:
- Registered Nurse license (New York state license only)
Certifications:
- BLS certification (American Heart Association only) required
- ACLS certification preferred
Must-Have:
- Ability to scrub and circulate
Description:
The Operating Room cares for a wide variety of patients.
Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, gynecology, ear, nose, and throat, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma.
There are robotic surgical systems utilized by multiple services.
Surgical cases include transplants for livers, kidneys, and hearts.
