Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – South Carolina

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Location: Aiken, South Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM). Call requirements include 5 weeknight shifts (5:00 PM - 6:30 AM) during each 6-week period, plus 3 weekend day shifts (Saturday or Sunday, 24-hour shifts) during each 6-week period.

Highlights:
  • Scrub and circulate for operative procedures across various surgical specialties
  • Perform department admissions to the operative suite and maintain appropriate aseptic techniques
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans
  • Prepare operating rooms, assemble equipment and supplies, and ensure all instruments and implants are available and functional
  • Serve as communication liaison between patients, families, and operating team members
  • Must reside 100 miles or more from the facility location
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved Registered Nurse program (required)
  • Current Registered Nurse license in South Carolina (required)
  • Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience with various specialties (required)
  • PALS, BLS, and ACLS certifications (required)
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) highly desired
