### Exciting Opportunity for an Operating Room RN in Springfield, MO!
**Job Description:**
- **Role:** Registered Nurse (RN)
- **Specialty:** Operating Room
- **Assignment Length:** 13 weeks
- **Shift:** Days, 4x10 (0630-1700)
- **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36
- **Number of Openings:** 1
**Position Highlights:**
- Collaborate with a team of skilled nurses and surgical techs in the Main OR and Hybrid Imaging suite.
- Assist Vascular Surgeons during both Endo and Open cases.
- Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care across all age groups.
- Maintain patient rights and uphold confidentiality while coordinating care with ancillary departments.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
- Foster a professional environment aligned with Mercy Service Standards and values.
**Qualifications:**
- **Required Licensure:** Current RN License in the state of Missouri.
- **Required Certifications:** BLS from AHA only.
- **Experience:** Minimum 2 years in Level 1 or 2 Trauma settings.
- **Skills:** Scrub and OR Circulator experience highly preferred.
- **Patient Care:** Work with diverse patient demographics from outpatient to critical care inpatient.
- **Personality Trait:** Highly motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills.
**Working Conditions:**
- Stand and walk frequently, with physical demands including lifting and pushing patients up to 50 lbs.
- Primarily clean, air-conditioned work environment.
**Unit Information:**
- **Number of Beds:** Main 22, ASC 8, Ortho 10
- **Patient Ratios:** 1:1
- **Equipment:** Various including DaVinci for robotic surgeries.
- **EMR:** EPIC
