Schedule: 8-week assignment with average 2-3 weekend shifts per schedule period; 7-8 call shifts per 8-week period including weekend and weekday coverage; call shifts run 12-hour blocks (7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.)

Highlights:
  • High-volume Main OR with 16 operating rooms and average daily census of 35 cases
  • Specialties include General, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, Robotics (Da Vinci XI), Urology, Vascular, and Colorectal surgery
  • Advanced technology including 2 Da Vinci XI Robots, 1 Mako Ortho Robot, Epic charting system, and Pyxis medication management
  • Both circulating and scrub experience required – excellent opportunity to maintain diverse perioperative skill set
  • High-volume robotics program featuring general, urology, colorectal, and gynecologic procedures
  • Maximum 7 days RTO allowed; must be finalized at time of submission; blackout dates during Spring Break (April 4-12)
Requirements:
  • Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
  • Minimum 3 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
  • Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year OR experience
  • BLS certification required; ACLS and CNOR preferred
  • Both circulating AND scrub experience required (non-negotiable)
  • Previous charge experience required
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Community hospital experience required; Trauma Level II experience required, Trauma Level I preferred
  • Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
  • Demonstrated competency in high-volume total joints (hips, knees, shoulders), robotics, and spine/neuro cases
