Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Louisville, KY. This role requires proficiency in circulating duties within an operating room setting. Key Responsibilities of the RN - OR- Operating Room- Perform circulating duties in a variety of surgical operations including vascular, neuro, thoracic, and more
- Manage Foley catheters, chest tubes, and AED equipment
- Utilize EMR systems such as Cerner and handle equipment like the Plum ICU Medical IV Pump and Omnicell medication dispensing
- Support other teams in the department by relieving staff for lunch breaks
- Collaborate with a team consisting of one RN and one Tech per case
Requirements of the RN - OR- Operating Room- Valid RN license
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an operating room setting
- Experience with circulating, Foley catheters, chest tube management, and AED
