Candidate must have experience in various surgical procedures. Will care for adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census in the unit is around 7 patients. The team supports various special procedures including General, Ortho, OB/GYN, GI, Colorectal, and ENT surgeries. Ability to administer blood and blood products is required. Candidates must adhere to infection control and safety protocols. Call will be split between registered nurses, averaging 10 shifts per month. May require recovery if on call. Interdisciplinary support includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Social Services, and others. Candidate is expected to follow universal protocols and perform wound management.
