Job Title: OR Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift: 8 hours
Experience: Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience, preferably in orthopedics
License: Required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
Must-Have:
- 2 years of OR experience
- Scrubbing required
- RN preferred but not required
Description:
Department includes 10 Operating Rooms and one procedure room.
Average number of cases per day ranges from 30 to 35.
Common cases include 65% orthopedic procedures, from minor to major joint surgeries.
Other cases involve plastics, ENT, and some general surgery; only neuro cases are disc surgeries.
No robotic surgeries or urology/vascular/GYN/eye surgeries performed.
Experience with scrubbing is necessary.
A board runner will serve as a support RN on each shift.
OR technicians are available to assist.
Charting is done on paper.
On implant cases, disposable caps must be worn over personal caps.
The dress code includes provided scrubs, with personal caps permitted if properly laundered.
Unit-specific orientation will vary depending on traveler's experience.
Cancellation policy is not applicable.
No floating requirements are necessary for this role.
