Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,229 per week in Kansas City, KS

Demonstrated proficiency in at least one of the following specialties: ENT (trach/airways, head/neck flaps, ears, soft tissue), Neuro (burr holes, craniotomy), or Surgical Oncology (robotics). Perform scrub and/or circulating duties for ENT procedures including tracheotomies, airway management, head and neck flaps, ear, and soft tissue cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care within the Operating Room setting across a range of surgical specialties
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties for ENT procedures including tracheotomies, airway management, head and neck flaps, ear, and soft tissue cases
• Support Neuro surgical cases including burr holes and craniotomies
• Assist with surgical oncology procedures including robotic-assisted surgeries
• Float to all OR suites as needed based on staffing and case volume
• Complete orientation including in-person and EPIC/nursing training as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active Kansas RN license or Compact RN license required
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Demonstrated proficiency in at least one of the following specialties: ENT (trach/airways, head/neck flaps, ears, soft tissue), Neuro (burr holes, craniotomy), or Surgical Oncology (robotics)
• New graduates are not eligible for this position
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements for night shift

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level I Trauma center experience strongly preferred
• Experience working across multiple OR specialties in a high-acuity environment
