The unit has 15 OR suites with a staffing level of 68. Staffing includes charge nurses, team leads, circulators, techs, anesthesia techs, and PCAs. The patient ratio is 1:1. The equipment used includes OR service line equipment for various specialties. Typical procedures performed in this unit include orthopedic, burn, plastic, gynecological, urology, spine, trauma, and general surgeries. Candidates will benefit from a collaborative team environment. Travelers are expected to adhere to hospital policies and participate in weekend and holiday rotations. Following AORN guidelines is essential. New technologies and equipment may be available to enhance the work experience.
