Key Responsibilities- Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a multi-specialty OR environment with a 1:1 patient ratio
- Circulate and/or scrub across a variety of surgical procedures including angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and orthopedic/spine cases
- Collaborate effectively with OR RNs, CSTs, anesthesia technicians, and service line leads to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
- Operate and maintain standard OR equipment including Stryker video systems
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
- Participate in on-call responsibilities, including approximately 2 twelve-hour call shifts per month and 3-4 evening call shifts (5:00 PM - 7:00 PM) per month
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 1-2 years of current hospital OR experience
- Active RN license required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in both circulating and scrubbing roles
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Strong communication skills with staff and providers, with a focus on patient experience
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced surgical environment
