Traveler is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees. One or more years of experience acceptable. Unit specifics include 6 operating rooms and 1 endoscopy suite. Patient ratios are 1 patient to the operating room team. Type of equipment includes DaVinci Xi Robot and orthopedic beds. Documentation system is Meditech. Scrubbing and first assisting procedures performed on the unit include Urology, ENT, Ortho, General, Endo, Pediatric General, Bariatric, and Pediatric Dental. Floating to other surgical services areas may be required. On-call schedule varies. Dress code includes operating room scrubs, which are provided. The unit has certifications in Orthopedic and Bariatric care. The DaVinci Xi Robot is utilized in procedures. Staff experience ranges from new hires to over 40 years.
