Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45-19:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current Nursing License required Certifications: BLS; Certifications specific to role and aligned with state and federal regulations (e.g., CST) Must-Have: Level 2 or greater trauma experience Experience across various surgical specialties, including orthopedics, neuro, general/GYN/urology, vascular, and thoracic Description: The operating room unit has 18 beds and a mix of RN and surgical tech staff. Day shift includes scrub and circulator roles for 18 rooms, charge RN, service line experts, and OR support technicians.

Day shift includes scrub and circulator roles for 18 rooms, charge RN, service line experts, and OR support technicians. Night shift comprises a scrub and circulator trauma team and additional on-call teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong skill set, particularly in level 2 trauma experience. Expertise in spine and orthopedic skills is preferred. Typical procedures performed include spinal fusion, total joint replacements, and DaVinci robot procedures such as prostatectomy, colectomy, and gastric bypass. Candidates must demonstrate teamwork and flexibility, with expectations to work weekends and be on-call approximately four 12-hour shifts per eight-week schedule. Dress code consists of scrubs provided by the facility. Unit policies and guidelines will be discussed on the first day of the contract.
