Description:
This is a Level II Trauma Center.
The facility has a bed capacity of 309.
There are 12 OR suites including two CVOR suites.
The patient ratio is 1:1.
Staffing is in accordance with AORN recommendations with support staff available.
Type of equipment varies per service line specialties.
The documentation system used is Meditech.
Scheduling requirements include 24 hours of trauma service with varying shift times available.
Shifts may include 8, 10, or 12 hours, with alternate weekends and on-call assignments.
Floating policy is applicable based on skillset and patient volume.
Patient experience requirements include a minimum of 2 years of experience.
The following procedures are performed on the unit: Total Joint procedures, orthopedic trauma, robotic general including bariatrics, robotic urology, craniotomy procedures, ENT, and plastics.
Uniforms are provided for in-house use only.
Policies and procedures are available to staff during orientation and follow AORN standards.

The unit is very traveler-friendly and appreciates assistance from travelers.
Travelers are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
