Description: This position involves working in the operating room with a schedule of 5 shifts per week, each lasting 8 hours. The role requires 1-2 nights of call per week and 1-2 weekends of call per month, with possible holiday call. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of operating room experience. Travel experience is preferred but not mandatory. Active BLS certification is required. The applicant must be willing to adhere to a 60-mile radius rule, as locals are not eligible. The unit provides care for a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The daily surgical census includes approximately 30 cases.
