# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cardiovascular Operating Room – Texas

Schedule: Weekend shifts, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM; either Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday. Includes one weekday call shift and one holiday rotation. Full-time position.

Requirements:- Active RN License in Texas or compact state license
- Minimum of 2 years of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience required
- EPIC charting experience required
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association only) required
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
- Experience with open-heart procedures and general OR support
Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care utilizing the nursing process for cardiovascular surgical patients
- Administer medications and treatments following established protocols; monitor patient response and treatment effectiveness
- Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately in EPIC system
- Assess learning needs and provide patient and family education throughout the perioperative experience
- Make appropriate clinical assignments and delegate to care team members effectively
