Certifications: BLS (must be AHA), CNOR preferred
Must-Have:
Must be able to scrub and circulate in thoracic, trauma, neuro, spine, ortho, and robotics cases.
Experience in a wide range of surgical specialties is required.
Description:
Responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in the operating room.
Must be proficient in scrubbing and circulating for various surgical procedures.
Common types of cases include ortho, neuro, maxillofacial, ENT, plastics, vascular, colo-rectal, general, GYN, robotics, urology, spine, podiatry, thoracic, and breast surgeries.
Approximately 25-35 cases are performed each day.
Electronic medical records are managed using EPIC.
Scrubs will be provided.
Shift expectations include being available for on-call duties.
Expected to cover 2-4 call shifts per 6-week period, including weekends.
No floating expectations are required for this position.
Availability for holiday coverage is necessary if it falls within the contract timeframe.
EPIC access is needed for job functions.
