The unit has 23 operating rooms and a staff of approximately 70. Day shift consists of 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 sitters. Patient ratios for the day shift are 1:1. The technology used in the unit includes electronic medical records. Typical procedures performed include elective surgical cases such as orthopedics, spine, general surgery, cardiovascular, plastics, gynecology, robotics, and urology. There is no trauma surgery performed in this unit. Candidates with experience in orthopedic, spine, and cardiovascular procedures will be considered first.
