Description:
Number of Beds: 5 ORs, 1 Cysto room.
Typically run 4-5 ORs a day.
Daily board runner, one circulator, one scrub, one first assistant staffed to each room.
Total joint procedures require an additional scrub or first assistant.
Type of equipment includes various surgical instruments and technologies.
Documentation system utilized is Meditech.
Scheduling requirements include full-time hours and 1-2 late shifts per week.
Call responsibilities are rotating weekends.
Floating policy: Typically do not float.
In the event of low volume, opportunities may be provided in other departments of surgical services within scope.
Experience in Orthopedic and spine procedures is preferred as these are primary service lines.
Additional service lines present include general, vascular, urology, gynecology, neuro, ENT, podiatry, and bariatric robotic services.
Advanced skills in the above procedures are preferred.
Dress code: Scrubs will be provided.
Unit guidelines and policies should be attached to the application.
